Behold, Doulos, the world’s oldest active ocean-going passenger ship! Yay. Lucky me was one of the 20 million visitors have been welcomed on board. Actually this was my 2nd time on board this ship. My family visited Doulos the last time it visited Southeast Asia years ago when I was still in primary school.

The ship is docked at Vivocity.

As a floating book fair, Doulos stops in over 500 ports all over the world to bring knowledge, help and hope. It’s a really inspiring vessel.
The books on board are very affordable and there’s many Christian books which are unavailable in stores.

These hand-drawn cards are beautiful.

Oh they were giving out these flyers which gives 10% discount!
Anyway, everyone on board is a volunteer. The crew is made of people from all nationalities, representing more than 40 nations.

Wiki said that Doulos ”is currently doing her last world tour and was planned to be de-commissioned in 2010“.
Oh well, for those who wants to check out this floating book fair, Doulos will be in Singapore till Tuesday!
