Shopping at Citygate Outlets

October 16th, 2009 View Comments

Who says good shopping has to be expensive? We had a great time shopping at Citygate Outlets. This mega store offers yearly discount of at least 30% to 70% on all sorts of stuff which includes designer fashion, sports, beauty, accessories, children’s wear, and home items. What’s more Citygate Outlets houses more than 80 international brands.

Super big! Quote from Wiki:

Citygate Outlets has almost half a million square feet of retail space: 75 shops and 14 restaurants, a 6-screen multiples cinema, a 3-suite spa centre, and Asia’s largest outdoor kinetic fountain. The Citygate complex also includes 160,000 square feet (15,000 m2) of office space, as well as subterranean parking for over 1,100 cars. The 440-room Novotel Citygate Hong Kong hotel is also connected to the mall.”

Seriously, you can spend a whole day here. We did.

Well it’s super convenient to get here. Citygate Outlets is just one station away from Disneyland and 30 minutes from Central! Ok it’s also damn near the airport. If you are planning to do some sight-seeing, Citygate Outlets is adjacent to Ngong Ping 360 cable car that shuttles between the mall and the Giant Buddha.

We bought quite alot of stuff. Most of the products were off-season goods going at large discounts! Ah I shall share the best deal Mr.Ong and I gotten from Citygate.

3 of our best buys are from shop no: 110.

Yes, Timberland! We bought 3 pairs of extremely well-made shoes from Timberland! Everyone know Timberland shoes are durable and can last ages. I got myself a Mary Jane and wedges while Mr.Ong brought home a handsome casual shoe. All are made from high quality materials which includes leather.

Timberland’s style is typically relaxed, casual and really gets back to basics. The shoes are so simple, comfortable and understated.

Now where can you find leather Mary Janes and wedges for S$40 each? How about leather male casual shoes for S$56? YES Timbo rocks! YUP Citygate Outlets really have good quality stuff at super low prices. Simply shopping at its best. But there’s more stuff to buy if you visit Hong Kong during summer! It was winter when we were there and most of the clothes were not suitable for Singapore’s weather.
