Restoran Good Luck

Family chow time! Pa always brings us to the best places for food. :D

Restoran Good Luck is near Octville Golf & Country Club in Bandar Seri Alam. To get to Sri Alam, follow the sign to Pasir Gudang Port and you will not go wrong. You will take roughly about 20 minutes from the causeway.

I wanted to have the Fried Pork Knuckles! It goes really well with whisky! We even brought a bottle of Chivas. Been craving for it since the last time dad brought us here for dinner. Alas, the lady boss said that the knuckles are not ready today. Oh well next time we will call her to check if they are serving fried pork knuckles. So she recommended the pork ribs instead. Tada!

Special Pork Ribs RM15

Lady boss told us that the kitchen will prepare the the pork ribs exactly the same was as they did for the fried pork knuckles. Yay! this means I can still get the same sauce that’s guaranteed to make taste-buds dance all night long! I’m not sure what kind of sauce is that! It is spicy yet a little cheesy. Mm. Fried pork ribs taste as good as pork knuckles. lol. Goes well with whisky too!

Spicy Prawns RM28

For prawn lovers, this superbly spicy dish is bursting with flavour! This dish is less spicy than the pork ribs and it has a tangy feel with spices thoroughly coated on the outer shell of the prawn!

Thai-Style Fish RM28

Ma really love this sweet & sour delight. It has wonderful flavor and richness, as well as a spectacular presentation. haha. I guess it is spectacular for crunchy onions like me! Anyway the fish is fresh and accompanying the fish is an exquisite Thai sauce which is very appetizing.

We also ordered the claypot mixed veg because it comes with local beancurd! Dad is not a fan of the Japanese tofu. Not sure why. Hmm the gravy is ok and the selection of veg is pretty fine too. Cheap and good.

Claypot Mixed Veg with Special Tofu RM10

So we orders 4 dishes for 4 pax.  The servings were just right.

Service was good. I caught the lady boss on camera when she was scurrying off to somewhere. haha. She’s very nice and honest! She is very kind to recommend us the freshest stuff she has in her kitchen.

Apparently golfers are regular patrons of this unassuming-looking deli. No wonder pa always comes home with yummy tapau-ed food after his golf game. In my opinion, golfers recommended restaurants usually offer delectable meals at reasonable prices and food is served pronto. Big boys don’t like to wait long for their food after a rough game of golf.
